Halloween 2015

Halloween this year was extra fun, mostly because we had Henry to share it with. Our ward Trunk or Treat was on Wednesday the 28th, my first full day alone with Henry. I was a little bummed we weren't going to make it to the party...Henry was just so little...but at lunch Tim suggested the three of us just sit in the trunk together and hand out candy, and I got really excited. I even went on our first outing as mom and son to Hobby Lobby to get stuff to make Henry a costume! It took us about 2 hrs to get out the house...but Henry was a champ at the store. I borrowed Rachael's sewing machine and everything....buuuuuut....we didn't end up making it. The costumes were a disaster (Princess Leia yarn hair everywhere) and Henry was wanting to eat every hour and a half. Ah, the life of a newborn and overzealous mom. So exhausting.

So we were really happy when Maddie invited us to their house for pizza and trick or treating on Halloween. Rachael helped me finish Henry's costume too, so glad that she lives across the street! I would be lost without her!! We were a little nervous to take our week and a half baby, but I just really needed to get out, so we made sure to keep him extra close and not let anyone touch him. It turned out to be so fun and refreshing. I felt really successful that night. And... BABY YODA!!!!!!!!!

So fun to be pushing our stroller with our baby with our friends.

And we also carved pumpkins with the Mulders :)

Holidays are getting more and more fun!
